embedded world 2019 – The trade fair invites to the next session
The Nuremberg trade fair is once again inviting visitors to embedded world this year. From 26 to 28 February 2019, more than 1,100 exhibitors will be presenting their innovations, products and services at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.
This year’s embedded world 2019 is all about, among other things, extreme miniaturisation combined with ever-increasing computing power; efficient communication of networked, often mobile systems; the security of electronic systems; distributed intelligence; the Internet of Things – and solutions for future issues such as e-mobility and energy efficiency.
In the “electronic displays Area” in Hall 1, the exhibiting companies will be presenting innovations in display technologies as part of the special shows. In Hall 3, exhibitors in the M2M Area will be addressing the challenges posed by increasing mobility and global networking.
Safety & Security
Whether security for hardware and software, protection against external attacks or protection against piracy – in the “safety & security Area” visitors can find out how to design attack-proof hardware and software and how to protect embedded systems against attacks.
At the joint “Innovation made in Germany” stand in Hall 3A, young companies will have the opportunity to present themselves to a specialist audience.
Also in Hall 3A, the new “start-up Area”.
“Our trade visitors wish for more fresh ideas from young, innovative companies!” – Benedikt Weyerer (NürnbergMesse)
The panel discussion “Safe for the Future” will take place again this year. Moderated by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Fromm of the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, this year’s panel will discuss how the different requirements for data security and functional safety are combined – and which measures can be used to achieve these two goals.
“Student Day” at the embedded world 2019
The “Student Day”, which will take place on the third day of the fair, is intended to enable students to get to know the experts and companies in the sector. This year, Dr. Ralf G. Herrtwich (Here Technologies) will give a lecture on the development of navigation systems which, thanks to automated driving, are increasingly no longer tailored to the driver but to the vehicle’s systems. More than 1000 students are expected this year.
Building automation
Numerous exhibitors from the booming field of building automation can also be found at embedded world 2019. More than 120 suppliers will present their solutions for building automation in areas such as industrial applications, communication, logistics, medicine, transport and security.
As early as 2018, 32,217 trade visitors were able to gather information from the 1,021 exhibitors at embedded world – and were highly satisfied, according to surveys conducted by the organiser. More than 95 percent of the visitors rated the range of products, the information available at the stands and the organisation of the trade fair extremely positively. This year, the organisers expect further growth in interest and visitor numbers.
embedded world 2019 opens its doors on the event days from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (or 5.00 p.m. on the last day).
